On the last weekend of every month, Perth metal night HORNOGRAPHY comes around with killer live bands, metal DJ, giveaways, resident photographer, merch, and a whole lot of good wholesome debauchery!

Hornography is proud to celebrate it's 8th Birthday this August, marking eight years of metal madness and a continuous support of the Perth metal community.

Since launching in August of 2018, Hornography has become a cornerstone of Perth's underground metal scene, bringing together bands, fans, metal DJs, giveaways, themed events, and unforgettable nights of heavy music.

The 8th Birthday Bash promises a stacked lineup of entertainment - 5 killer bands: WOEWARDEN, COLD FATE, ENFORCE, MAXIMUM PERVERSION & VESTIGIAL plus our longtime sponsor and legendary local metal merch store HEAVY METAL MERCHANT have curated a special playlist for the metal DJ so there will be lots of tunes cranking between the bands all night!

On top of all that we have a stack of giveaways that includes double passes to Carcass, Shred Fest plus  band merch and more!

Whether you've been there since day one or are discovering Hornography for the first time, this milestone event is a celebration of the community, passion, and dedication that keeps Perth metal alive and thriving. WOEWARDEN
Atmospheric/Depressive Black Metal band WOEWARDEN are closing out our 8th birthday show! With a brand new album 'The Roots Of My Neglect' just released, the band are set to weave a desolate tapestry of torment and despair at Hornography!

COLD FATE
One of Perth's top thrash metal elite, COLD FATE return to the Hornography stages to smash out another top class set.

MAXIMUM PERVERSION
Who else is celebrating a milestone this year? MAXIMUM PERVERSION are now 30 years in this year so what better time and place to celebrate than at our birthday bash!

ENFORCE
Thrash/death veterans ENFORCE continue to celebrate more than 25 years of pure unadultered metal and they bring their full arsenal to our birthday bash!

VESTIGIAL
After making their live debut at Hornography in 2024, progressive death metal band VESTIGIAL return for another round to open the night!

SHADOW WORLD PHOTOGRAPHY
Resident hero MISTY SHADOW will be snapping killer photos of the bands and the crowd, so get your ugly mug captured in local metal history.
